The main objective of this study was to determine the level of discipline and sense of responsibility of students of class V SDN 8. In the first cycle is known that the category of student discipline level value is enough value, the sense of responsibility achieving considerable value, on points chores with a value less. In the second cycle, level of discipline achieving category of very good, the level of responsibility reached very good. An increase in the level of discipline and responsibility of students from the first cycle to cycle to the second because it made improvements on the technique gave the tiered sanctions are varied, with continuous coaching and motivation to the students themselves

Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Perbandingan Harga Petani Karet dalam Menjual Karet ke Pasar Lelang dengan Non Pasar Lelang ( Toke ) di Desa Muhajirin Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbandingan harga petani karet yang menjual karet ke pasar lelang dengan non pasar lelang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan yang dimulai dari tanggal 11 November sampai dengan 11 Desember 2013 dengan tujuan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi petani dalam menjual karet ke pasar lelang dan pasar non lelang serta melihat perbandingan harga di pasar lelang dan pasar non lelang.penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penarikan sampel dilakukan secara acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling Sedangkan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi petani dalam menjual karet ke pasar lelang dengan non pasar lelang dilakukan uji Chi-Square (Siagel,1997) dengan tabel kontingensi 2x2. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa Faktor-faktor keterikatan yang ada di daerah penelitian sangat mempengaruhi petani dalam menjual karet ke pasar lelang dan non pasar lelang di Desa Muhajirin Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Terdapat hubungan yang nyata antara faktor-faktor yenng mempengaruhi petani dalam menjual karet ke pasar lelang dan pasar non lelang di Desa Muhajirin Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dengan nilai Thitung > Ttabel, dimana nilai Thit = 12,32 > (α/2 = 5% db = 31) = 1,70

Pemanfaatan Tepung Kulit Singkong dalam Pembuatan Mi Sagu Instan

The research aim was to find the best formulation for making instant noodle from cassava peel flour and sago starch. This study was conducted using Complete Random Design with three repetitions and six treatments. The treatments for manufacturing instant noodles were SK0 (sago starch 100%), SK1 (sago starch 95% and cassava peel flour 5%), SK2 (sago starch 90% and cassava peel flour 10%), SK3 (sago starch 85% and cassava peel flour 15%), SK4 (sago starch 80% and cassava peel flour 20%), and SK5 (sago starch 75% and cassava peel flour 25%). Parameters observed were the moisture content before and after frying, protein content, acid value, intactness and rehydration time. The results show that addition of cassava feel flour significantly affected the moisture content before and after flying, protein content, acid value and intactness, but did not significantly influence the rehydration time of instant noodle. The best treatment was SK5 (sago starch 75% and 25% cassava peel flour) with moisture content before and after frying 9.12 % and 7.12% respectively, protein content 6.14%, acid number 0.03%, intactness 94.93% and rehydration time 4.23 minutes

THE INFLUENCE OF PRACTICE METHOD AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION OF SHOT PUT SKILL

The aim of this research is to find out influence of practice method and achievement motivation of shot put skill. It was done at Sport Major, Health and Sports Department of State University of Gorontalo. This research uses the experimental method with factorial design 2 x 2. The Population are 189 male students of Sport Major, though the sample which is used are 75 second-semester male students which passed the lecture of Athletic Shot put O’bryn which  is divided into four groups, consists of 10 people each. Data Analysis uses the Variants Analysis (Anava) and Tukey Test for the next step. This Research concludes that: (1) There is a significant difference between plyometric and conventional practice method for Shot-Put skill. (2)  For the High achievement motivation, plyometric practice method is better than the conventional practice method for the Shot-Put skill. (3) For those who have the lack of achievement motivation, there is no significant difference between plyometric and conventional practice method for the Shot Put skill. (4) There is positive interaction between practice method and achievement motivation for the shot put skill

Behind the Glitz of the 2010 Budget

At the end of every year, it is important to reflect upon and evaluate the quality of national budget policies. The National Secretariat of the Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency (Seknas FITRA), together with its network of budget advocacy units across Indonesia, has consistently provided annual reports on budget performance. Such reports are an important part of its budget transparency work program and its effort to realize popular sovereignty over national budgets 2010 was the first year of President Susilo Bambang Yudoyono (SBY)'s second term of office following his re-election in 2009. In this second term, SBY should be able to be more resolute in his espousal of good budget policies and should not accord any priority to maintaining his political image. The principal emphases in the 2010 State budget (APBN 2010) were that it should promote “national economic recovery and boost community welfare”. But all that turned out to be mere rhetoric. The reality was that the budget was further removed than ever from the mandate of Article 23 of the Consititution that national budgets “shall be implemented in an open and accountable manner in order to best attain the prosperity of the people”. Instead of being used to promote the public interest, 40.7% of the 2010 APBN was consumed by routine expenditure on the bureaucracy and top echelons of the civil service. Furthermore, Rp 162.6 trillion of that 40.7% was spent on civil service costs, Rp 19.5 trillion on official travel and Rp 153.6 trillion on payment of interest on loans or loan repayments

Implementasi Team Game Tournament Pada Pembelajaran Teknik Kontrol Di Kelas XI Mekatronika SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi

ABSTRAK Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan kognitif yang tidak merata terhadap materi PLC pada mata pelajaran Teknik Kontrol. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dengan memilih model pembelajaran kooperatif Team Game Tournament.Alasan mendasar dipilihnya model pembelajaran ini adalah karena hasil nilai kognitif siswa untuk mata pelajaran Teknik Kontrol kelas XI Mekatronika di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi berada di bawah harapan para guru. Selain itu terjadi perbedaan nilai kognitif yang sangat mencolok antara siswa yang pandai dan kurang. Oleh karena itu dalam rangka mencapai hasil kognitif yang diinginakan oleh guru bagi seluruh siswa kelas XI Mekatronika untuk mata pelajaran Teknik Kontrol maka dipilihlah model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group design, yaitu dengan menyamakan kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan pengamatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament mampu meningkatkan hasil kognitif siswa dengan baik Sementara pada hasil afektif dan psikomotor siswa juga dapat berjalan dengan baik. An Intersectional Analysis of Structural Racism and Police Violence Against Black Women

Structural racism in the United States affects racial and ethnic minorities in many areas of life. The Black community, specifically, faces the highest risk of police violence and brutality. In particular, this paper explores the ways in which adverse police violence experiences affect Black women. Black women often face marginalization in movements for racial justice and gender equality, so this paper investigates the intersectionality of how Black women experience police violence. They often face overlapping forms of discrimination and racialized gender violence at the hands of police. The negative ways in which Black women are stereotyped are discussed to further highlight how their perpetrators of police violence “justify” their actions and often have impunity. The role of institutions is examined to demonstrate their role in promoting racial hierarchies and white supremacy and to further illustrate how police violence and racism are not individual, micro-level issues. This thesis heavily utilizes literature published on the subjects discussed and draws on literature from legal, anthropological, and public health perspectives
