    Dipolar polaritons squeezed at unitarity

Interaction of dipolar polaritons can be efficiently tuned by means of a shape resonance in their excitonic component. Provided the resonance width is large, a squeezed population of strongly interacting polaritons may persist on the repulsive side of the resonance. We derive an analytical expression for the polariton coupling constant and show that it may have very large values in typical experimental conditions. Our arguments provide a new direction for the quest of interactions in quantum photonics.Comment: 5 pages, 1 figure + Supplemental informatio

Enhanced Correlations and Wide Charge Distributions in Pion Production

Unusual phenomena in pion production are considered. It is argued that pions may be in a squeezed state having enhanced identical pion correlations. Charge distribution in soft chiral pion bremsstrahlung is shown to be very broad.Comment: 5 page

Reaction of the fermion field on spontaneous change of its mass

    Get PDF
Modification of the particles in the course of the source evolution is considered. Influence of this effect on multiplicities and correlations of the particles is displayed, including an enhancement of the production rates and identical particle correlations and also back-to-back particle-antiparticle correlations.Comment: (11 pages, Latex, 0 Figs, Third Sakharov Conf.,Moscow, June 2002

Electroweak characteristics of mesons in the relativistic quark model

    Get PDF
In this work the electromagnetic radius and the polarizability of the mesons are obtained by use of the effective Lagrangians constructed on the one hand with taking into account of general principles of the relativistic quantum field theory and on the other hand with taking into account of the compound relativistic model meson representation. Also using a relativistic constituent quark model based on point form of Poincare-covariant quantum mechanics we calculated electromagnetic radius and the decay constants of the mesons with spinor quarks.Comment: Talk given at the IV International School-Seminar "The actual problems of particle physics" (Gomel,Belarus,1997). Meson Regge trajectories in relativistic quantum mechanics

    Get PDF
A model potential for two-particle relativistic systems is investigated in the framework of Poincare-invariant quantum mechanics (or relativistic Hamiltonian dynamics). The potential considered allows to reduce the main integro-differential equation of Poincare-invariant quantum mechanics to the equation analogous to the radial equation and have analytical solution for relativistic bound system. We discuss the possible choice of the parameters of potential and apply our model to the description of light meson Regge trajectories.Comment: Talk given at the 8 Annual Seminar "Nonlinear Phenomena In Complex System" (NPCS'99) (Minsk, Belarus, 1999). 7 pages,9 figure

Connection Formulae for Asymptotics of the Fifth Painlev\'e Transcendent on the Imaginary Axis: I

Leading terms of asymptotic expansions for the general complex solutions of the fifth Painlev\'e equation as tıt\to\imath\infty are found. These asymptotics are parameterized by monodromy data of the associated linear ODE. ddλY=(t2σ3+A0λ+A1λ1)Y. \frac{d}{d\lambda}Y= \left(\frac t2\sigma_3 + \frac{A_0}\lambda+\frac{A_1}{\lambda-1}\right)Y. The parametrization allows one to derive connection formulas for the asymptotics. We provide numerical verification of the results. Important special cases of the connection formulas are also considered.Comment: 71 pages, 30 figure

Decay Constant of Pseudoscalar Meson in the Heavy Mass Limit

The leptonic decay constant of the pseudoscalar mesons a calculated by use of the relativistic constituent quark model constructed on the point form of Poincare-covariant quantum mechanics. We discuss the role relativistic corrections for decay constants of pseudoscalar mesons with heavy quarks. We consider the heavy mass limit of decay constant for two-particle system with equal masses.Comment: Talk given at NPCS'98,Minsk,Belarus,1998. To be published in the proceedings. 4 page

One kind of spinor techniques for massive fermions

    Get PDF
In the work we have considered the reduction techniques matrix element of the reaction interaction of elementary particles for massive fermions to spinor products . The our procedure is not more complex than CALCUL spinor techniques for massless fermions. It is relatively simple and leads to basic spinor products with any polarizationod fermions. Also obtained spinor Chisholm identities for massive fermions.Comment: 7 pages. Talk given at QFTHEP'99 Workshop Moscow, Russia, May 27 - June 2 1999. To be published in the proceeding

About one method of analytical calculations of reaction amplitudes with fermions

The paper presents the new method of calculations of reaction amplitudes of processes with spin 1/2 fermions. The method is based on the application of isotropic tetrad in Minkowski space and basis spinors connected with it. We obtained as test and illustration of the method the amplitudes of interaction processes ee+ffˉe^-e^+\to f \bar{f} , ee+WW+e^- e^+\to W^-W^+ and one of the possible diagrams of the process e+ee+ee+ee+ee^+e^-\to e^+e^-e^+e^-e^+e^-.Comment: 18 pages, 3 Postscript figures, submitted in Phys.Rev.
