Albanian Language and English Loanwords Today
This paper first of all deals briefly with the present situation of the Albanian language pointing out the failure to respect the standard language norm. The paper is then mainly concentrated on the phenomenon of borrowing English language elements by the Albanian language. It emphasizes the large number of loanwords that have penetrated into Albanian after the war in Kosova, with the coming of international governmental and non-governmental organizations and by the social system change, as well as due to the impossibility to analyze and control those foreign words, most of them unnecessary, due to their furious coming in within a short time, but also due to the lack of readiness, either subjective or objective, of language institutions of the country to address loanwords in a proper manner. In compliance with this, respective measures are proposed to be undertaken for controlling the unnecessary loanwords. An additional part is offered in the paper, in which some loanwords that could be accepted are discussed justifying the proposals, and also suggesting for some of the unnecessary loanwords to be refused in Albanian
Plasma and Sol-Gel Technology for Creating Nanostructured Surfaces of Fibrous Polymers
For a modification of natural and synthetic fibrous polymers low-pressure ICRF plasma and liquid repellent
sol-gel fluoroalkyl-functional siloxane precursor were used. Plasma induced surface chemical and
morphological changes on fluorinated poly(ethylene terephthalate) and cellulose were analysed using X-ray
photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Wettability properties of sol-gel
functionalized polymers were determined by the goniometric water contact angles and water sliding angle
measurements. After plasma treatment the oxygen content on the surface of both polymers increased (increase
of O/C ratio) and a nanostructured surface roughness appeared. Plasma ablation caused partially
defluorinated nanostructured surface of fluorinated poly(ethylene terephthalate) polymer and increased its
hydrophilicity. Plasma activation and etching of cellulose polymer contributed to the creation of highly adhesive
and wash resistant sol-gel coating with superhydrophobic, oleophobic and self-cleaning properties.

CAR-Net: Clairvoyant Attentive Recurrent Network
We present an interpretable framework for path prediction that leverages
dependencies between agents' behaviors and their spatial navigation
environment. We exploit two sources of information: the past motion trajectory
of the agent of interest and a wide top-view image of the navigation scene. We
propose a Clairvoyant Attentive Recurrent Network (CAR-Net) that learns where
to look in a large image of the scene when solving the path prediction task.
Our method can attend to any area, or combination of areas, within the raw
image (e.g., road intersections) when predicting the trajectory of the agent.
This allows us to visualize fine-grained semantic elements of navigation scenes
that influence the prediction of trajectories. To study the impact of space on
agents' trajectories, we build a new dataset made of top-view images of
hundreds of scenes (Formula One racing tracks) where agents' behaviors are
heavily influenced by known areas in the images (e.g., upcoming turns). CAR-Net
successfully attends to these salient regions. Additionally, CAR-Net reaches
state-of-the-art accuracy on the standard trajectory forecasting benchmark,
Stanford Drone Dataset (SDD). Finally, we show CAR-Net's ability to generalize
to unseen scenes.Comment: The 2nd and 3rd authors contributed equall
Psychological novel in children’s literature
Introduction: psychological novels are numerous in Kosovo’s children’s literature, so their study is essential, given the circumstances of their creation and their impact on the formation of a new generation.
Objective: to investigate the development of such novels, considering the experiences and specificities of authors from Kosovo.
Methods: the study used a combination of methods, including sociological, formal, structural, synthesis and literary analysis.
Development: the origin of the authors of the texts for children was considered, which ultimately reflected not only their professional qualities but also their ones. Various historical circumstances, including the war in Kosovo in the 1990s, were interpreted in the course of the study, which ultimately contributed to a comprehensive analysis of the works. The nature of the relationship between different generations is studied in the example of a grandfather and grandson, which determined the importance of the process of communication between the older and younger generations. The concepts of “tragedy” and “pain” within the framework of psychological novels in children’s literature are considered, which in conclusion demonstrates the close interdependence of the complex historical and political situation in Kosovo and the cultural segment of the country.
Conclusions: this study provides valuable insights into how psychological themes in children’s novels from Kosovo impact readers, offering a nuanced understanding of their role in shaping young personalitie

EFFICIENT COMPUTATION OF SOBOL’ QUASI-RANDOM GENERATOR
Purpose of the study: The quasi-Monte Carlo method is an essential tool for modeling and analyzing various complex problems in engineering, physical sciences, finance, and business. The crucial element of the method is a sequence of deterministic quasi-random values, which is often obtained by using the Sobol’ quasi-random generator. The purpose of this study is to consider the time complexity of generating the Sobol’ sequence.
Methodology: Algorithms for determining the Sobol' sequence have been studied. The algorithms have been implemented in the Python programming language.
Main Findings: It is established that this sequence can be generated in the linear time provided that generated numbers are based on 32-bit or 64-bit integers. The main result of the paper is the algorithm, which enables this time-bound.
Applications of this study: The study can be applied in engineering, physical sciences, finance, and business.
Novelty/Originality of this study: It is shown that Sobol’ sequence can be generated in linear time
