    Adaptation of climate smart agriculture concept in Kazakhstan, pros and cons

    The main purpose of this research is to see new examples of climate smart farming methods, how they might increase agricultural productivity and to be resilient to climate change. The object of the research is Climate Smart Agriculture holistic concept. The subject of the research is the relationships between farmers and governments of different countries. Food and Agriculture Organization is one of the major objectives to achieve food security and the agricultural sector is a key driver of food security. Having sustainable agricultural growth is necessary for achieving global food security. In order to become resilient to disasters, increase productivity and incomes and contribute to mitigation there is a relatively new holistic concept called Climate Smart Agriculture. Climate Smart Agriculture project is trying to build a model for the kinds of practices, policies and investment proposals and making resources of financing that we need to achieve food security.</jats:p

    Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah merupakan USAha suatu wilayah yang efektif, efisien, produktif danberkreatif akan memiliki tingkat daya saing yang tinggi, namun beberapa kendala yang dihadapioleh Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah biasanya terjadi pada: pemasaran yang kurang tepat sasaran,kurangnya modal, inovasi yang masih dibawah standar, kebutuhan bahan baku yang kurang tersedia,sumber daya manusia yang belum memadai, belum memiliki atau mengembangkan rencana strategisuntuk USAha/kesinambungan bisnis (businees continuity planning), kurang memahami tentangpemulihan bencana atau kendala dari dalam dan luar (disaster recovery planning).     Изложены некоторые особенности проектирования водозаборных сооружений в Сибири из подземных и поверхностных источников. Показано, что для коэффициента шероховатости связь с расходом обратно пропорциональна, когда малым наполнениям русла соответствуют большие значения его и наоборот. Полученные результаты позволили разработать методы проектирования водозаборных сооружений меньшей трудоемкости, без привлечения результатов дорогостоящих натурных измеренийThe article deals with certain subterranean and surface water inlet springs’ designing particularities applying to Siberia. It is shown that the roughness coefficient for the cost is inversely proportional to that small fillings channel correspond to large values of it, and vice versa. The results allowed us to develop methods for the design of intake structures at the complexity, without involving costly results of field measurement

    The discovery of graphene and its unique properties has inspired researchers to try to invent other two-dimensional (2D) materials. After considerable research effort, a distinct "beyond graphene" domain has been established, comprising the library of non-graphene 2D materials. It is significant that some 2D non-graphene materials possess solid advantages over their predecessor, such as having a direct band gap, and therefore are highly promising for a number of applications. These applications are not limited to nano- and opto-electronics, but have a strong potential in biosensing technologies, as one example. However, since most of the 2D non-graphene materials have been newly discovered, most of the research efforts are concentrated on material synthesis and the investigation of the properties of the material. Applications of 2D non-graphene materials are still at the embryonic stage, and the integration of 2D non-graphene materials into devices is scarcely reported. However, in recent years, numerous reports have blossomed about 2D material-based biosensors, evidencing the growing potential of 2D non-graphene materials for biosensing applications. This review highlights the recent progress in research on the potential of using 2D non-graphene materials and similar oxide nanostructures for different types of biosensors (optical and electrochemical).     An investigation into disruptive innovation in the entertainment industry

    As society moves towards digital developments, people demand more flexible forms of consumption. In the craving for new products and services, globalisation presents itself as a driving factor for economic and social changes, accelerating innovations arise. Thus, this paper aims to discuss the role of disruptive innovation as a democratic process to introduce new technologies to the world. The analysis of existent literature indicates that disruptive business models not only respond for significant changes in consumers behaviour but also induce competitors to reshape their strategy. In addition, an investigation into disruptive innovations in the entertainment industry, particularly in the subscription video-on-demand sector, identifies central ideas, patterns, and contexts related to disruption. Through a qualitative analysis based on bibliographic research and Netflix as a case study, the main findings of this research present the emerging of business models as a leading economic force, outlining their effects on businesses outside their core market and the new ways of consuming entertainment introduced by them. Consequently, further research proves to be needed to confirm and evaluate the relationship between disruptive entertainment business models and their consequences in society

    Space charge limited current mechanism in Bi2S3 nanowires

    We report on the charge transport properties of individual Bi2S3 nanowires grown within the pores of anodized aluminum oxide templates. The mean pore diameter was 80 nm. Space charge limited current is the dominating conduction mechanism at temperatures below 160 K. Characteristic parameters of nanowires, such as trap concentration and trap characteristic energy, were estimated from current–voltage characteristics at several temperatures
