    Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vývoj aplikací pro herní konzolu. Aplikace jsou programovány v jazyce symbolických adres a v jazyce C. Konzolu tvoří 8-bitový mikroprocesor AVR ATmega32, monochromatický LCD displej s rozlišením 128x64 bodů a pro snadné ovládání je připojen joystick.This bachelor thesis is focused on development of applications for gamepad. Applications are programmed in assembler language and in C. Gamepad are created by 8-bit microprocessor AVR ATmega32, monochromatic LCD display with screen resolution 128x64 dots and the joystick is connected in order to manage the easy control.

    Živimo u vremenu kada se sve više ljudi okreće alternativnoj i narodnoj medicini zapostavljajući pri tome zakonitosti suvremene zapadnjačke medicine. Kao rezultat toga, apiterapija (liječenje pčelinjim proizvodima) doživljava svoj procvat. U ovom radu izložen je kratak pregled najvažnijih pčelinjih proizvoda i njihovih ljekovitih svojstava. To su med, propolis, pčelinji vosak, matična mliječ, pčelinji otrov te pelud (iako pelud nije direktan proizvod pčela).We live in a time when more and more people are turning to alternative and traditional medicine, at the same time neglecting the principles of contemporaryWestern medicine. As a result, apitherapy (treatment of bee products) is experiencing a real boom. This seminar presents a brief overview of the apiculture products and their medicinal properties. These include honey, propolis, beeswax, royal jelly, bee venom and pollen (though pollen isn’t a direct bee product)

    Hydrogen-Related Conversion Processes of Ge-Related Point Defects in Silica Triggered by UV Laser Irradiation

    The conversion processes of Ge-related point defects triggered in amorphous SiO2 by 4.7eV laser exposure were investigated. Our study has focused on the interplay between the (=Ge•-H) H(II) center and the twofold coordinated Ge defect (=Ge••). The former is generated in the post-irradiation stage, while the latter decays both during and after exposure. The post-irradiation decay kinetics of =Ge•• is isolated and found to be anti-correlated to the growth of H(II), at least at short times. From this finding it is suggested that both processes are due to trapping of radiolytic H0 at the diamagnetic defect site. Furthermore, the anti-correlated behavior is preserved also under repeated irradiation: light at 4.7eV destroys the already formed H(II) centers and restore their precursors =Ge••. This process leads to repeatability of the post-irradiation kinetics of the two species after multiple laser exposures. A comprehensive scheme of chemical reactions explaining the observed post-irradiation processes is proposed and tested against experimental data.Comment: 25 pages, 7 figures, submitted to Phys. Rev.

    H(II) centers in natural silica under repeated UV laser irradiations

    We investigated the kinetics of H(II) centers (=Ge'-H) in natural silica under repeated 266nm UV irradiations performed by a Nd:YAG pulsed laser. UV photons temporarily destroy these paramagnetic defects, their reduction being complete within 250 pulses. After re-irradiation, H(II) centers grow again, and the observed recovery kinetics depends on the irradiation dose; multiple 2000 pulses re-irradiations induce the same post-irradiation kinetics of H(II) centers after each exposure cycle. The analysis of these effects allows us to achieve a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the centers during and after laser irradiation.Comment: Submitted to Journal of Non Crystalline Solid

    Copyright law applies not to all results of human intellectual activity, but only to those that meet certain criteria of protectability. Proceeding from this, it is of theoretical and practical importance to study the approaches of the doctrine and judicial practice to the disclosure of work protectability criteria. As a rule, if the criteria are specified in the law, their content is usually not disclosed. For this reason, the clarification of the essence of the criteria falls on judicial practice and civil doctrine. The purpose of the paper is to determine the criterion of "originality" in the Russian civil doctrine and judicial practice. The study employs formal-legal and systemic-structural methods, content analysis of various publications, and comparative-legal methods. As a result, the content of the criterion of originality is formulated and recommendations are given for the specification of terminology in the Russian legislation

    Probiotic Use in Trauma Patients: A Pathway to Determining the Standard of Care to Improve Outcomes

    The gut microbiome consists of normally non-pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and fungi. These friendly microbes serve to maintain GI barrier function and integrity, play a role in host nutrient and drug metabolism, immunomodulation, and prevent pathogenic bacteria from colonizing or causing disease. The importance of a healthy microbiome for the overall health of the host is just recently being appreciated within the medical and science communities. Disruption of the microbiome places one at greater risk for illness and infection. Patients who suffer a traumatic injury are among those at highest risk for complications associated with microbial imbalance, or dysbiosis. In addition to the mechanisms of traumatic injury that can impair one’s immune function, these patients are subjected to a variety of treatments and therapies that account for a tendency toward dysbiosis which can lead to healthcare-acquired infections. These include treatment with antibiotics, proton pump inhibitors, and opioids as well as therapies that require invasive procedures and monitoring. One suggested means to restore immune function and for the prevention of HAIs is to supplement patients with probiotics to restore or replenish host microbiota. However, despite promising findings regarding the efficacy of probiotics for prevention and amelioration of certain HAIs, supplementation with probiotics is not without risks

    Numerical Analysis of Plasma Transport in Tandem Volume Magnetic Multicusp Ion Sources

    A one-dimensional fluid model of plasma transport in tandem volume magnetic multicusp ion sources is explored. The model, the positive ion source code pos, by Glasser and Smith, calculates plasma density, drift velocity, electron temperature, and ion temperature in an ion source. The usefulness of the model is limited: (1) The plasma density trend runs opposite to experimental results, and electron temperatures are an order of magnitude higher than experimentally observed. (2) simplification of the reaction chemistry leads to a plasma balance between ionization and outflow instead of the correct balance between ionization and recombination. (3) Wall losses are neglected. (4) There are inconsistencies in the derivations of some equations. (5) The final solution depends on the choice of an initial estimated solution. (6) Results of the model are not totally reproducible. (7) Numerical instabilities develop upon modification of terms or variation of initial conditions outside of a narrow range. Calculations of the plasma potential from the results of the model are qualitatively correct

    Usporedba i računalna simulacija kinematike i kinetike dva mehanizma malja mehaničkih preša

    Primarni zadatak ovog završnog rada bio je izvršiti analizu kinematike i kinetike dvaju zadanih mehanizama malja mehaničkih preša. Zadana su dva mehanizma sa profilima ojnica koji se koriste u praksi. Temeljna ideja je bila konstruirati oba mehanizma korištenjem softvera koji istodobno omogućuju numeričku simulaciju. Time se omogućava oponašanje gibanja mehanizma i dobivaju se rezultati o pomaku, brzini i ubrzanju. Kao najbolje rješenje za softver pokazao se program Matlab (Matlab 2009, paket Simmechanics). U cilju omogućavanja simulacije gibanja i dobivanja željenih vrijednosti bili su potrebni podaci poput mase, momenata inercije svakog dijela mehanizama. Za rješavanje tog problema poslužio je programski paket Catia V5. U programskom paketu Catia nacrtan je svaki dio, izračunata masa pojed inih dijelova i zadan materijal pojedinih elemenata mehanizma. \Na temelju zadanih podataka program je izračunao podatke koji su bili potrebni za rad u Matlab-u. Definiranjem svih potrebnih podataka u programu Matlab pokrenute su simulacije i dobiveni podaci za prijeđeni put malja u vremenu. Podaci za put malja su derivirani u programu OriginPro70 i na taj način se izračunavaju vrijednosti za kretanje brzine malja u ovisnosti o vremenu. Dvostrukim deriviranjem vrijednosti o putu malja dolazi se do podataka o ubrzanju malja u ovisnosti o vremenu. Pomoću izračunatih podataka napravljeni su dijagrami koji opisuju kretanje malja u vremenu. Na temelju ovih podataka određena je snaga praznog hoda mehaničkih preša te je određena energija cjelokupnog mehanizma dviju mehaničkih preša. Napravljena je i usporedba podataka dobivenih simulacijom sa podacima iz literature koji su dobiveni analitičkim putem
