PPRCA: Privacy-Preserving of Raft Consensus Algorithm a Next-Generation Consensus for Distributed Network
Background: Even while traditional Raft is effective at leader election and log replication, it is not appropriate for sensitive applications like supply chains, financial systems, or healthcare because it lacks built-in privacy safeguards.
Materials and Methods: A privacy-preserving Raft consensus method is proposed to solve the privacy issues that occur when private information is transferred between nodes in a distributed system such as a blockchain. Raft itself, by default, does not provide any steps toward ensuring data confidentiality during consensus. By employing privacy-preserving cryptographic techniques like homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs, nodes can reach consensus while keeping sensitive data private.
Results: Traditional Raft performs much better in scenarios where performance matters, while Privacy-Perving Raft works better in a sensitive application to privacy (the average of write throughput is 5% lower than that of traditional Raft) and CPU is 40-60%.
Conclusion: Based on the gained privacy by some computational costs, it will be valid to draw the conclusion that this works for privacy-sensitive applications within decentralized systems with these performance and security analyses
Using the Fuzzy Logic to Find Optimal Centers of Clusters of K-means
Techniques of data mining that used in the medical diagnosis a number of diseases like cancer, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease. The great importance emerging fields for providing diagnosis and a profounder understanding of medical data, its coms from Data mining in medical field .researcher attempts to solve real world health problems in the prognosis and treatment of diseases, by using Healthcare data mining. In this research, the algorithm of k-means is used for grouping medical data, the problem of k-means is to find optimal centers of clusters so, and fuzzy logic is used to get optimal centers of clusters
Trust in Smart Homes: The Power of Social Influences and Perceived Risks
The increased reliance on smart technologies has caused people to consider smart homes. A smart home is using basic assistive devices to build a home environment that contains many technological features and home appliances that are connected and integrated. In order to adopt smart homes, it is needed that users trust this technology, and the factors that influence trust are yet to be discovered. Thus, the aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of customer trust in smart homes by empirically exploring the factors that influence customers’ trust in smart homes, understanding how those factors are intercorrelated, and the influence of power and direction of each factor. To address the research aim, an online survey is conducted to explore the perceptions of the residents of the UAE residents through a convenience sampling approach. As a result, most people believe that smart homes are reliable and competent. By collecting 158 responses and analyzing them through the SEM-PLS approach, it is found that the social influence, perceived security risks, and perceived financial risks significantly impact customers’ trust in smart homes and that the social influences can significantly impact people’s perceived risks (security, privacy, and financial risks) as mediators to trust in smart homes
Biostratigraphy of Qamchuqa Formation in Jambur Oil Field in Kirkuk Area
The Qamchuqa Formation has been studied in three wells ( Ja-15, Ja-20, Ja-22) within Jambur oil field, North East of Iraq . Three hundred and thirty five thin sections have been studied by polarizing microscope in order to determine fossils and biozones. Thirty seven species of benthic foraminifera were recognized. In addition to following fossils that recognized in Qamchuqa Formation : Calcareous algae – Coptocampylodon fontis, Rudist fragments ,Pelecypods Gastropods , Mollusks , Brachiopod , Ostracods shells , Echinoid fragmendes , Coral and Algea .
Five biozones were observed, they are: Praeorbitolina cormyi – Palorbitolina lenticularis - concurrent Zone (of Early Aptian), Mesorbitolina parva - Range Zone (of Middle Aptian age), Mesorbitolina texana - Range Zone (of Late Aptian – Early Albian,), Mesorbitolina subconcava - Range Zone (latest early Albian) and Orbitolina sefini - Range Zone (of Late Albian). The age of Qamchuqa Formation has been distinguished according to these biozones, to be as ( Aptian-Albian)
Suggesting new words to extract keywords from title and abstract
When talking about the fundamentals of writing research papers, we find that keywords are still present in most research papers, but that does not mean that they exist in all of them, we can find papers that do not contain keywords. Keywords are those words or phrases that accurately reflect the content of the research paper. Keywords are an exact abbreviation of what the research carries in its content. The right keywords may increase the chance of finding the article or research paper and chances of reaching more people who should reach them. The importance of keywords and the essence of the research and address is mainly to attract these highly specialized and highly influential writers in their fields and who specialize in reading what holds the appropriate characteristics but they do not read and cannot read everything. In this paper, we extract new keywords by suggesting a set of words, these words were suggested according to the many mentioned in the researches with multiple disciplines in the field of computer. In our system, we take a number of words (as many as specified in the program) that come before the proposed words and consider it as new keywords. This system proved to be effective in finding keywords that correspond to some extent with the keywords developed by the author in his research
NASA / Pratt and Whitney Collaborative Partnership Research in Ultra High Bypass Cycle Propulsion Concepts
Current collaborative research with Pratt & Whitney on Ultra High Bypass Engine Cycle noise, performance and emissions improvements as part of the Subsonic Fixed Wing Project Ultra High Bypass Engine Partnership Element is discussed. The Subsonic Fixed Wing Project goals are reviewed, as well as their relative technology level compared to previous NASA noise program goals. Progress toward achieving the Subsonic Fixed Wing Project goals over the 2008 fiscal year by the UHB Partnership in this area of research are reviewed. The current research activity in Ultra High Bypass Engine Cycle technology, specifically the Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan, at NASA and Pratt & Whitney are discussed including the contributions each entity bring toward the research project, and technical plans and objectives. Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan current and future technology and business plans are also discussed, including the role the NASA SFW UHB partnership plays toward achieving those goals
The aesthetics of simplification and complexity in contemporary sculpture according to postmodern concepts
The era after World War II witnessed a remarkable transformation in the formal structure of contemporary sculpture and demonstration techniques, with its new intellectual and cognitive frameworks full of rapid and successive changes of new artistic movements and trends that provided forms, formats, new relationships and different compositional systems that included simplifications, some of which tend towards complexity, so the current study aimed to identify the aesthetics of simplification and complexity in contemporary sculpture according to postmodern concepts, The problem of the research was to answer the following question: What is the aesthetics of simplification and complexity in contemporary sculpture, this research relied on the descriptive analytical approach being the most appropriate approach to achieve the goal of the research, the research sample (3 samples) were deliberately selected to suit the privacy of the current research, and the researchers have designed (analysis form) and the most important results reached by the researchers
