Fault-tolerance Framework for Private Clouds Development
Cloud computing provides access to largepool of data, applications and computationalresources. Many researchers have beenproposed several open-source Infrastructure-asa-Service (IaaS) cloud management frameworks(e.g, Eucalyptus, Nimbus, OpenNebula). However, all these systems have limited scalableand fault-tolerance support. Now, fault-tolerancein new computing environments has become acritical requirement. Checkpointing and rollbackrecovery is a common approach to achieve faulttolerance. In this paper, we propose the faulttolerance management framework for privatecloud development based on EUCALYPTUS -an open-source framework for cloud computingthat implements what is commonly referred to asInfrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
Shear wall of multi story wall beam system for tall buildings
Precast construction with wall beam system has gain many advantages in multi storey building construction. In addition, high rise building plays an important role not only in accommodation issue but also in safety issue of the lives during construction and living in that building. Therefore, most of the engineers explore the safer construction methods and economical solution for the construction of multi storeyed building. Moreover, wall beam system has a high resistance in the earthquake (lateral) load since the shear wall has been used as one of the main structural elements. Many research and testing has been done in shear wall analysis using various methods to determine the strength, the behaviour and failure mechanism of the shear wall. In this research work the dynamic properties and failure mechanism of scale-down shear wall with regular openings subjected to real seismic loads on shake table test are discussed. For this purpose, the experimental works are carried out in accordance with PGA (peak ground acceleration), natural frequency, mode of shapes, pushover testing and failure mechanism of the shear wall are evaluated and compared with the results from FEM software (ETABS). To sum up, wall beam system has many advantages in construction and it can be said that it is the most time effective construction method among the other construction methods especially if IBS is introduced. In addition, this type of structural system can withstand the lateral loads (earthquake) than any other types of the structure. Therefore, nowadays, this method has been accepted as one of the most appropriate methods in tall building construction system
Effect of Occupational Health and Safety Practices on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance of Employees in KRK Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd” (Amy Win Naing, 2023)
This study aims to explore the effect of Occupational Health and Safety Practices on
Job Satisfaction, to analyze the effect of Job Satisfaction on Job Performance, and to analyze
the moderating effect of Monetary Rewards on the relationship between OHS Practices and
Job Satisfaction of employees in KRK Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. The data is
collected from the samples of 86 respondents by using structured questionnaires. The findings
indicate that the employees in KRK company have positive perception on all four factors. The
wellness program, safety training and education program, and accident prevention measures
are the significant and these three factors lead to reach the high job satisfaction. The health
services and practices of the organization are insufficient to accommodate the employee
satisfaction. The findings also indicate that there is significant effect of job satisfaction on job
performance of employees in KRK company. In the moderating analysis, the findings indicate
that wellness program and accident prevention measures are positive and partial effect. Safety
training and education is negative and partial effect. And it is also found that health services
and practices is positive and complete effect. From the findings of the study, the intention of
the company to create the safe work environment by using the Occupational Health and Safety
(OHS) Practices and Monetary Rewards is effective. Job performance of the company can be
promoted by creating the safe work environment. It is recommended that companies should
align their Occupational Health and Safety Practices to their business strategies
The Effect of Workplace Bullying and Harassment on Counterrproductive Work Behavior of Employee at Cement Plants in Mandalay Region
This study aims to explore the effects of workplace bullying and harassment
on post-traumatic stress disorder and counterproductive work behavior. A survey of
employees from three cement plants in the Mandalay Region was conducted. Both
primary and secondary data were used to get the required result. This study mainly
uses descriptive and inferential research methods. Data were analyzed through
statistical analysis such as pearson correlation and multiple linear regression.
According to the overall mean of workplace bullying and harassment, it was found
that respondent employees from the cement plants seem to be safe from being bullied
and harassed at their workplace, but the employees at three cement plants are showing
the symptoms of workplace bullying, and they suffer a little from workplace bullying
and harassment. Moreover, according to the overall mean of post-traumatic stress
disorder and counterproductive work behavior, there are the symptoms of posttraumatic
stress disorder and counterproductive work behavior in the working
environment. When proceeding to regression analysis, it was found that bullying and
harassment had positive and significant effects on counterproductive work behavior
(CWB), as well as on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). And subsequently, PTSD
also had a positive, significant effect on CWB. Therefore, it is recommended that
managers need to protect against bullying and harassment in the workplace and ensure
policies and practices are in place properly for a safe, comfortable, and happy working
environment
“Factors Influencing on Jewellery Buying Behaviour with Digital Platforms” ( Win Htun Naing,2024)
The advent of digital platforms has transformed consumer behavior in the
jewelry market, presenting new dynamics and considerations for both consumers and
retailers. This study examines the key factors influencing jewelry buying behavior on
digital platforms. Through a review of existing literature and analysis of
contemporary market trends, we identify crucial variables, including convenience,
accessibility, product information, and trust-building elements such as customer
reviews, product transparency, and secure payment methods. Customization options
and price comparison tools empower consumers to make personalized and informed
choices, while social media exposure and influencer endorsements create additional
avenues for engagement. Furthermore, the growing importance of sustainability and
ethical practices, as well as post-purchase services like resizing and repair, impacts
customer loyalty and trust in the digital space. By exploring these factors, this study
provides insights into how digital platforms shape consumer perceptions, preferences,
and behaviors, offering valuable implications for both jewelry retailers and ecommerce platforms aiming to enhance customer experience and retentio

A Study on Chellenges of Oilseed Crops Production in Rural Area of Yenangyaung Township ( Ye Win Naing, 2024)
This study analyzes the profitability of oilseed crops, the sources of
technologies and market information, access to improved technologies and market, and
the sales pattern of oilseed, and examines the constraints in cultivation in oilseed crops,
and ways forwards to improving production and productivity of oilseeds of oilseed in
the study area. A total of 152 oilseed crops farmers are interviewed and selected by
using purposive random sampling method with structured questionnaires in
Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region in 2024. Descriptive method is used in this
study. It is found that oilseed crops farmers can earn more profit by getting information
access, sufficient labor in cultivating, enough information access, getting market
access, low transportation cost. The respondents also perceive that they have
technological constraints, and constraints about agro-climate factors, economic factors,
post-harvest, marketing and value-addition. It is suggested that the ways forwards to
improving HYV seeds, applying chemical fertilizer after testing the soil quality, using
modern farm related equipment like combined harvester, and arranging the workshop
on oilseeds by the Agricultural Departmen
