    Perancangan Jaringan Femtocell pada Jaringan 3G di Gedung C Fakultas Teknik Universitas Riau

    The worst network performance of “3” network provider at Building C, Faculty of Engineering has affected to the users in download / upload data from internet. Walking test measuremeat has performed and showed that average power level at each floor is -95,59 dBm. It does not meet 3GPP standard. Therefore, this paper presents the design of femtocell network for 3G indoor communication at Building C, Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau by using Radio Wave Propagation Simulator (RPS). There are two design considerations need to be calculated such as coverage area and network capacity. In terms of coverage area, four (4) Femtocell Access Points (FAPs) are required for each floor. However for netwok capacity, the FAPs are not distibuted equally for each floor, two (2) FAPs are required for 1st and 2nd floor, five (5) FAPs are required for 3rd floor. Three (3) scenarios for FAPs position are performed in this simulation; FAP is at the middle, corner, and random of ceiling. The best simulation results are obtained for random position which gives coverage area of -36.19 dBm and the lowest Signal Interference Ratio (SIR) of 1.50 dB. Both results meet the 3GPP standard

    Adaptasi Dan Stabilitas Hasil Galur-galur Aromatik Padi Sawah Di Sumatera Utara

    This research was aimed to describe the yield stability and growth adaptation of elite lines of aromatic rice in rice production centers of North Sumatra. The experiments were conducted at 10 sites during dry season (DS) 2001 and DS 2002. Research materials consisted of 12 elite lines introduced from IRRI with IR64 as check variety. The treatments were arranged in a randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. Stability analysis was performed using methods of Eberhart and Russell, Finlay and Wilkinson, and Francis and Kanennberg. The results showed that the interaction of genotype x environment effect was very significant, indicating the presence of specific line adaptation on a particular environment. Genotypes which had the highest average yield were not always stable genotypes, as was shown by IR71137-49-1-2 which was more suitable to the sub-optimum environment. Lines IR71143-223-3-2-2-3, IR71146-97-1-2-1-3, IR65610-24-3-6-3-2-3, IR66696-49-1-2, IR71146-407-2-1-2-1, IR71146-122-1-1-2-1 were considered as stable genotypes according to the three analysis methods and each line showed high average yield.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan morfologi tulang belakang (ossa vertebrae) ikan keureling, Tor tam-broides (Bleeker, 1854). Contoh ikan diperoleh dari pedagang ikan di wilayah sungai Tangse Kabupaten Pidie dengan bobot 5 kg dan panjang 65 cm. Tahapan pembuatan preparat tulang belakang dilakukan di Laboratorium Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Al Muslim Kabupaten Bireuen. Identifikasi terminologi tulang belakang ikan dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Biologi, Program studi Biologi, Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry. Pembuatan preparat tulang belakang dilakukan secara fisik dan kimiawi. Tulang belakang yang telah bersih dirangkai menjadi satu kesatuan untuk dianalisis setiap bagian-bagiannya. Pemotretan setiap bagian tulang bela-kang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kamera Canon EOS 700D dan diolah dengan menggunakan Adobe Photoshop CS3. Penamaan setiap bagian tulang belakang dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan kemiripan bentuk dan letak dari setiap bagian tulang belakang ikan yang telah diteliti sebelumnya, baik dari famili yang sama maupun dari famili yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ikan keureling memiliki empat buah tulang axial vertebrae yang termasuk da-lam tulang Weber (Weberian apparatus), 19 ossa abdminal vertebrae, 18 pasang ossa costae, 16 ossa caudal vertebrae dan satu os urostyles vertebrae

    There are several methods in nursing in providing care, one of the methods of his team. The team's method is applied by using a team of nurses who work heterogeneous, consisting of nurses propesional, and additional nurses to provide nursing care to a group of patients. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of the pre and post nursing conference with the implementation of nursing care in inpatient hospital interne Dr Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi Year 2015. The study was conducted on 13 to 1 August 2015 with a descriptive correlation design. The number of samples in this study were 31 teams of nurses with a total sampling sampling techniques, the instrument uses the observation sheet. From the analysis results obtained value of p = 0.01 (p <0.05), which showed a significant relationship between the pre-conference with the implementation of nursing care with OR = 12.80.     Microgrid cost optimization: a case study on Abu Dhabi

    This paper presents a microgrid cost optimization study specifically focused on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based on the Genetic and Ant-Bee Colony algorithms. The main objective of the paper is to identify size and amount of power supply sources in Microgrids that result in minimum cost. Specific parameters pertaining to the UAE were employed within the new objective function and constraints. Two different scenarios were tested, and their results have been discussed. During this study, it was evident that solar-PV systems were the second most cost-effective way to reduce cost of microgrids preceded by micro-turbines

    Three Dimensional Structure and Energy Balance of a Coronal Mass Ejection

    The Ultraviolet Coronagraph Spectrometer (UVCS) observed Doppler shifted material of a partial Halo Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) on December 13 2001. The observed ratio of [O V]/O V] is a reliable density diagnostic important for assessing the state of the plasma. Earlier UVCS observations of CMEs found evidence that the ejected plasma is heated long after the eruption. We have investigated the heating rates, which represent a significant fraction of the CME energy budget. The parameterized heating and radiative and adiabatic cooling have been used to evaluate the temperature evolution of the CME material with a time dependent ionization state model. The functional form of a flux rope model for interplanetary magnetic clouds was also used to parameterize the heating. We find that continuous heating is required to match the UVCS observations. To match the O VI-bright knots, a higher heating rate is required such that the heating energy is greater than the kinetic energy. The temperatures for the knots bright in Lyα\alpha and C III emission indicate that smaller heating rates are required for those regions. In the context of the flux rope model, about 75% of the magnetic energy must go into heat in order to match the O VI observations. We derive tighter constraints on the heating than earlier analyses, and we show that thermal conduction with the Spitzer conductivity is not sufficient to account for the heating at large heights.Comment: 40 pages, 16 figures, accepted for publication in ApJ For associated mpeg file, please see https://www.cora.nwra.com/~jylee/mpg/f5.mp

    Trionychia (Amyda cartilaginea) or better known as the machinations (bulus) by the public is one of the endangered species its conservation. Breeding is one way to support the conservation efforts of these animals and their germplasm. Breeding activity is done to maintain endangered animals like trionychia. This study aims to identify the breeding technique of Trionychia at PT. Arara Abadi and to compare it with existed literature about trionychia. The Methods of data collection are observation, interview and literature study. The data have been obtained by observation and interview that are conducted during the study compiled into the form of a table based on the type of activities that can be taken to a conclusion. The research finding showed that the breeding thechnique of trionychia at PT. Arara Abadi is included to ex situ breeding and based on the comparison between the data on the field and its literature, it is included to intensive breeding
