Classical philosophy: influence the education philosophy of age
Education with philosophy has a close relationship because philosophy is a view of life that leads to the goal of education. According to Dewey, changes that occur in society must exist and inevitable because education is always changing. The perennialism view at the moment that education is regarded as a container to direct the center of culture. While human beings are able to solve the problem and achieve its goals rationally. This condition of development in the flow of philosophy one of which is essentialism. And education as a tool to process humanize human, with the difference of orientation and philosophy that became his belief. Differences philosophy in a nation will bring a difference in the perspective or purpose of education itself. Learning with the P4C contributes to raising children to be sensitive individuals who respect different perspectives and are able to shape their own rights, have ethical values, take care and improve themselves, and embrace new ideas
Social Presence Online Tutoring: A study of Peer Effect Mechanism
The purpose of this study is to analyze whether Social Presence affects students' learning completeness in distance learning? at the University of PGRI Argopuro Jember (N = 600), the assessment was measured by Grade-Point Average (GPA). Data, obtained from variables consisting of: variable composition of students, class environment and the average value of students. Previous research has stated that Social Presence affects positive attitudes that have an impact on student learning mastery. It was found that the effect of learning enthusiasm that affects learning success with a high GPA difference was found. Students with high social presence get a complete average score in all of their competencies. The results show that the effects that influence students on the composition of Social Presence and frame factors are class composition, student interaction, and teacher interaction
Developing a Holland-Based Career Guidance Program to Enhance Career Planning in Higher Education: An Educational Intervention for Guidance and Counseling Students
The transition from higher education to employment remains a critical challenge for many students, particularly in the era of increasing global competition and rapidly evolving job requirements. At Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember (UNIPAR), the majority of Guidance and Counseling students experience difficulties in establishing career goals that align with their personalities and educational backgrounds, often due to a lack of structured career guidance and self-awareness. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a career guidance program based on John L. Holland’s RIASEC model to support these students in identifying suitable career pathways and enhancing their readiness for the workforce. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the program was designed, validated by experts, piloted, and implemented over four weeks with purposively selected students. The findings revealed significant improvements: 80% of participants identified their Holland personality type and matched it with relevant careers, 70% formulated both short- and long-term career plans, and there were substantial gains in self-awareness (85%) and career readiness (75%). Expert validation confirmed the program’s strong content feasibility and theoretical alignment. The study concludes that a structured, theory-driven career guidance program can effectively enhance students’ career planning abilities, self-understanding, and satisfaction, providing a replicable model for higher education institutions. The research is beneficial for students, educators, and policymakers, offering a pathway to bridge the gap between academic preparation and labor market demands. Future research is recommended to expand the program across broader student populations and over longer implementation periods
STUDI TENTANG HUBUNGAN MEDIA VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP PERILAKU AGRESIF DAN EMPATI ANAK USIA DINI
Merubah sikap perilaku agresif anak usia dini dan mengembangkan rasa empati anak merupakan usaha yang harus terus dilaksanakan oleh pendidik. Anak-anak memiliki kemampuan yang tinggi dalam menyesuaikan tingkah lakunya dengan apa yang diamati di sekitarnya. Video pembelajaranbagi anak adalah sesuatu yang menyenangkan, merupakan kegiatan bermain ketika anak sedang menerima pembelajaran di kelas dan satu-satunya motif tujuan ini untuk mengembangkan pencapaian perkembangan terutama pada sosial emosional anak yang memiliki perilaku agresif dan menumbuhkan sikap empati sejak dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PAUD di wilayah gugus 7 kecamatan Sumbersari Kabupaten Jember. Jumlah anak berusia 5-6 tahun di gugus 7 sebanyak 118 anak. Desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian eksprimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Deskripsi data disajikan berupa data distribusi hasil kegiatan pemberian video pembelajaran dengan penerapan pemberian video pembelajaran. Hasil belajar perilaku agresif dan sikap empati: a) Diketahui hipotesis penelitian: Ho = tidak ada pengaruh perbedaan yang signifikan pada Hasil kegiatan Pemberian video pembelajaran antara perilaku agresif dan sikap empati. H1 = ada pengaruh perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil kegiatan pemberian video pembelajaran antara perilaku agresif dan sikap empati. b) Hasil perhitungan uji mann whitney(z score) sebesar -6,546 dengan nilai sig.(p) = 0.000. c) Kesimpulan: nilai sig.(p) t hitung (0.000) < 0.05 maka H1 diterima bahwa ada pengaruh perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil kegiatan pemberian video pembelajaran antara perilaku agresif dan sikap empati (menggunakan metode pemberian video pembelajaran)
Contribution of Intensity of Participation in Psychoeducational Group Guidance to Academic Emotions
This study aims to determine the contribution of the intensity of participation in psychoeducational group guidance to the academic emotions of students in Jember Islamic boarding schools. Academic emotions play an important role in determining the quality of students' learning, while psychoeducational group guidance provides space for students to recognize, express, and manage their emotions positively in the context of learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design. The population in this study were students who actively participated in group guidance activities in several Islamic boarding schools in Jember, with samples selected purposively. The instruments used were a questionnaire on the intensity of participation and an academic emotion scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the regression analysis showed that the intensity of participation in psychoeducational group guidance contributed significantly to students' academic emotions (p <0.05), with a contribution of 30% (R² = 0.30). This finding indicates that the more intense the participation of students in group guidance activities, the more positive the academic emotions they have. This study recommends that Islamic boarding schools integrate psychoeducational programs more systematically in student guidance activities
PENGEMBANGAN LAYANAN KONSEING BEHAVIOR DENGAN TEKNIK SELF-MANAGEMENT UNTUK MRNGURANGI PERILAKU KONFORMITAS NEGATIF MAHASANTRI IBNU KATSIR 2 JEMBER
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membantu menanggulangi perilaku konformitas teman sebaya dikalangan mahasiswa yang dapat berdampak buruk bagi mereka yaitu konformitas negatif teman sebaya. Konformitas merupakan upaya individu agar diterima dalam sebuah kelompok, adanya konformitas dapat berpengaruh negatif terhadap pembentukan karakteristk individu sebagaimana yang terjadi di PPA Ibnu Katsir, hasil observasi dan wawancara peneliti mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa perilaku konformitas negatif telah menjadi boomerang dikalangan mahasiswa PPA Ibnu Katsir, untuk menanggulanginya peneliti berupaya mengembangkan buku panduan layanan konseling behavioral untuk mempermudah guru dalam menangani permasalahan yang terfokus pada perilaku, buku panduan behavioral menggunakan teknik self management, strategi ini diupayakan untuk membantu klien dalam mengatur segala aspek kehidupan serta mengurangi perilaku konformitas negatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (research and development) yang akan mengembangkan suatu produk untuk membantu mengentaskan konformitas negatif teman sebaya. Adapun proses pengembangannya akan menggunakan model ADDIE sebagai panduan setiap langkah pengembangan produknya. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah dengan terciptanya suatu produk buku panduan behavioral dengan teknik self management untuk dapat menanggualangi perilaku konformitas negatif teman sebaya

PENGEMBANGAN NILAI-NILAI ADAT NYADHAR SEBAGI UPAYA MENGURANGI COGNITIVE DISSONANCE PADA MAHASANTRI PUTRA PONDOK PESANTREN IBNU KATSIR
This research aims to develop Nyadhar traditional values as an effort to reduce Cognitive Dissonance among male students at the Ibnu Katsir Islamic Boarding School. Cognitive Dissonance is mental discomfort that occurs when a person has beliefs or values that conflict with their actions or choices. In the context of Islamic boarding schools, this incongruity can affect the mental well-being and consistency of students' behavior. Through a qualitative approach, this research identifies and applies the values of the Nyadhar traditional spiritual tradition rooted in local wisdom as part of the santri development program. It is hoped that values such as togetherness, obedience to teachers, and simplicity can help students deal with internal conflicts between religious values and the demands of modern life. The research results show that integrating Nyadhar traditional values in the daily lives of students can reduce the level of Cognitive Dissonance, increase emotional balance, and strengthen their spiritual identity
PENGEMBANGAN LAYANAN MODUL TEORI SOSIAL KOGNITIF BERBASIS TEKNIK MODIFIKASI PERILAKU UNTUK MENGATASI PERILAKU ISOLASI SOSIAL MAHASANTRI IBNU KATSIR 2 JEMBER
The purpose of this study is to help overcome social isolation behavior that occurs among students who can have a bad or negative impact on them. Social isolation is a behavior that is defined as a state where an individual feels separated or does not have meaningful social relationships with others. Social isolation can also be referred to as behavior that does not have the ability to interact with people around them, this is what causes an individual to prefer to close themselves off from the circumstances around them. As happened at PPA Ibnu Katsir, the results of observations and interviews by researchers concluded that this social isolation behavior can interfere with their learning activities while at the boarding school, and to overcome this, researchers are trying to develop a guidance and counseling service module book with a social cognitive theory approach to overcome social isolation behavior to make it easier for boarding school administrators to handle problems that occur in students. This strategy is carried out to help clients manage all aspects of life, especially in overcoming social isolation behavior. This study uses the R&D (research and development) method which will develop a product to help overcome social isolation behavior. The development process will use the ADDIE model as a guide in every step of product development. The purpose of this study is to create a product of guidance and counseling service module with a social cognitive theory approach to overcome social isolation behavior in students
PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI DIGITAL KREATIF MELALUI VIDEO MARKETING BERBASIS 7 KEBIASAAN HEBAT ANAK INDONESIA PADA MAHASISWA
In facing the challenges of the digital economy and the global recession, the ability to produce creative digital-based content is an important need for students and young Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The community service partners in this activity consist of a community of student entrepreneurs and young Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jember City, who have products but have difficulty in promoting and building brand visibility through digital media. The main problems faced by partners are low skills in creating effective video marketing content and the suboptimal instillation of character values in business promotion. As a solution, the community service team carried out intensive training and mentoring based on the 7 Great Habits of Indonesian Children combined with basic video marketing techniques. The methods used include technical video-making workshops, character-based product storytelling sessions, and direct practice in creating and publishing promotional videos on social media. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' skills in creating short videos that are interesting and contain character values, as well as increased participant confidence in marketing products digitally. This activity shows that a value-based training approach and creative practice can be an effective strategy in increasing the digital capacity of the younger generation and MSMEs in facing today's economic challenges
